Soila Reyna Garza

At the young age of 16, she met her husband, Isidoro, and married soon after. She and her husband were blessed to have a large family. Many great memories were made as she cooked her family's favorite meals. She had a green thumb and always enjoyed taking care of her plants. Soila always loved children, and for many years worked as a daycare teacher where she enjoyed spending her time surrounded by little ones. Later she worked at Target for a couple of years. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend will be dearly missed by those blessed to have shared in her life journey.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020, at 10:00a.m. followed by visitation until 1:00p.m. Regretfully, as our nation faces this health crisis, services will be by invitation only. She will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at Bourland Cemetery. Soila is preceded in death by her husband, Isidoro Garza Sr., and daughters, Belinda, Jane and June, and grandson, Matthew Garza.

She is survived by her children, Isidoro Garza Jr., and wife, Donna, Richard Garza, Moses Garza, John Garza, Reuben Garza, Roxanne Garcia and husband, Rick, Melissa Garza; grandchildren, Lisa Freed, Cody Garza, Amber Brownlee, Brandie Garza, Richard Garza Jr., April Garza, Michelle Ribera, Anthony Ribera, Moses Garza Jr., Devyn Searles, Micah Garza, Hunter Garza, Marcus Garcia, Mercedes Garcia, Kasaundra Garza, Damian Padilla, Juan Garza and 16 great-grandchildren, brother,Arturo Reyna and Ernesto Reyna; sisters, Norma Ramirez, and Yolanda Franco; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
