HOUSTON -- Spergeon W. Murphy, 49, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at his residence in Houston.
Celebration of life: Noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Pleasant Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 5312 Houghton St. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the funeral home.
Survivors: Loving wife, Judith Murphy; son, Kieron Richardson; brothers, Anthony Reed (Jennifer), John Murphy; sisters, Theresa Davis (Kevin), Tashima Dunbar, Crystal Murphy, Demetra Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
