Teresa was born on February 1, 1956 to Eddie and Clara Minneweather. She graduated in the top 3% of her Polytechnic High School graduating class. She later continued her studies and graduated Cum Laude from Texas Wesleyan University.
Teresa wore many hats and was employed at Six Flags, Stripling and Cox, Montgomery Wards, Levitz Furniture, and retired as a long time employee of the United States Postal Service.
Teresa’s heart was close to the lord, and she attended Highland Park Baptist Church of Fort Worth from an early age. She later became a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church for over 20 years.
Over the years, Teresa was very active with her church and community. She proudly participated in organizations such as DFW Ministry, AWANA Leader, and SWAT. She also served as an Ignite Facilitator and in the First Missionary Food Bank Ministry.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband, Paul Rutledge of Benbrook, Texas; son, Jason Minneweather of Benbrook, Texas; brother, Michael Smith, and wife, Jannie, of Lorena, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.shannonrosehill.com for the Minneweather Rutledge family.
