Triston Deon Simpson

Triston Deon Simpson, age 37, of Fort Worth, Texas departed his earthly home on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Triston was born August 26, 1983 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parentage of Billy Russell and Tanya Simpson. Triston at a young age, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Triston attended Fort Worth and Mansfield School Districts and continued his education as Howard College. Triston, better known as "DaTruth" loved football and basketball. He had a love so strong for these sports that he coached several little league teams all over DFW. Triston took much pride in helping athletes reach their goals and their full potential. "Coach Triston" or "Coach T," as he was called was truly all about the kids. Triston as also a Forklift Driver at Peterbill Motors Company in Denton, Texas. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Freddie Mae and Willie D. Simpson and paternal grandparents, Clifton and Josephine Russell. Triston leaves to cherish his memories; mother, Tanya Simpson (Anthony Battles); father, Billy Ray Russell; brothers, D'Andrae Simpson (Elisha) and Jarrayd Sauls, sisters, Amber Russell and Kayla Battles; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends.
