Wayne Wright

Wayne Wright was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 19, 1952 to Erma and Sherman Wright.

Wayne first attended elementary school at Rosedale Park Elementary before transferring to

Morningside Elementary in the fourth grade. After completing the sixth grade there, he attended

Morningside Jr. High. He completed his high school education at Dunbar High School and from there

0 he attended Southwestern Christian College.

Wayne obeyed the gospel at an early age at the Stop Six Church of Christ and attended that congregation

for many years.

Wayne loved all types of sports from the time he was in elementary school. He even competed on the

relay team each year while in elementary school.

Being an avid sports fan, he especially loved to watch football and basketball games on tv. After watching

the games he would then get on the telephone and discuss the entire game with anyone who would listen.

Wayne's last place of employment was at the Samsill Corporation.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Euwanda Thorns (Lawrence), one brother, Lee Williams (Alice), nieces Delisa, Acia (Fred), Amber and Harmony, nephews Chad and Cody, aunts Vauntina Wright and Geneva · McGee, several first cousins, a special cousin Mattie Whitaker whom he would talk to on the telephone for hours at a time, other family members and friends.
