Willie was born July 28, 1945, in the south side of Fort Worth to Jose G. and Carolina Martinez. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a diehard Cowboys fan; in his world, he bled blue and silver. He was a huge Tejano music fan and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose G. Martinez, and brother, Timoteo.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Helen Martinez; sons, Richard, Stephen and Danny; mother, Carolina Martinez; brothers, George Martinez and wife, Mary, Gregory Martinez and wife, Sylvia; grandchildren, Natalle, Stephen Jr., Bailey and Ava; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Blondie. Q
