

Charles “Charlie” E. Banks
Today we celebrate the Homecoming of Charlie Banks.
He was the third born to Edwina Sands and
Joseph R. Hyman in Fall River, MA on March 19, 1933.
Both deceased. Raised by Bernadette Cote and
Benjamin Banks of Tiverton, RI until he decided to join
the Army during the Korean War.
He was a faithful servant of the Framingham Street
Ministries Incorporated, Sackcloth Ministries, a
Volunteer Worker for the Salvation Army and BABNAB
(an Organization against Bullying) all located in Framingham, MA.
He would always say that “He was a sinner saved by
Grace and that he was lost but now I am found”.
He loved to help others.
He loved praising the Lord not only with
his hands but with his voice.
He leaves behind two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Banks
Cecelio of New Bedford, MA and Dorthy Gibbs of
Providence, RI
Ex-wife Carol A. Wilson of Newport, RI, A son
Charles and Rochelle Wilson of College Station, Texas
and a daughter Linda and James W. Palmer of
Middletown, R.I
Five Nephews:
Marcus, Maurice and Dale Banks, Warren and
Wayne Cecilio of New Bedford, MA
Seven Grandchildren:
