He was the beloved husband of the late Muriel J. (Woodworth) Wright.
Mr. Wright served his country in the United States Navy during WWII as a Radio Man, 2nd Class; and later worked for many years as a music teacher in the local public school systems.
Edmund was the devoted father of Jeffrey Wright and his wife Jacqueline of Framingham, Marsha Beesen and her husband Jens of Lisbon Falls ME, Susan Wright of Portland OR, Gregory Wright of Brewster, and Jonathan Wright and his wife Annmarie of San Francisco CA. He is also survived by his former daughter in-law, Kimlyn Abel-Wright. Edmund was the loving grandfather of Christopher, Haley, Emma and August Wright, Crystal Gillis and Naima Fatimi. He leaves four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, all services are private. Expressions of sympathy in Edmund's memory may be directed to your local hospice agency.
