

DICENSO, Franny, 64, of Framingham, Jan. 22. Born in Sulmona, Italy, on August 18, 1948, son of the late Donato DiCenso and Assunta (Presutti), he came to this country with his parents at the age of 10. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, as an artillery mechanic in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. With his brother, he co-owned and operated Donato’s Hair Cuttery in Waban since 1986.
Franny was a member of St. Linus Church, Natick and the Columbus Society in Framingham. He loved tending to his tomatoes and the rest of his garden, which was the envy of the neighborhood. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan, but most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and children at home, especially at dinner every Sunday.
Franny was the devoted husband of Carol (LaBossiere) DiCenso of Framingham, loving father of Gaetana Assunta Presutti DiCenso, Francesco Donato DiCenso, and Gabriella Bambina DiCenso. He was also the brother of Enrico DiCenso of Ashland, Vincent DiCenso of Framingham, and Donato DiCenso, Jr. of Hudson, the son-in-law of Norma LaBossiere of CT and the late Leonard LaBossiere, the brother-in-law of Leslie McMahon of TX, Diane and Rich Kumor of Plymouth, Daniel LaBossiere of CT, Daniel LaBossiere of CT, Jan and Doug May of CT, and John LaBossiere and also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Monday, January 28, at St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may call at St. Linus Church, Natick on Sunday, January 27, from 4-8 PM. 01504.
