Roxie Williams

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Nazarene Baptist Church 7416 LA-182 Franklin (Verdunville), LA. Burial will follow in the Little Zion Cemetery in Verdunville, LA.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her six sons, Larry (Lucretia) Kemp of Springfield, OH, Stanley Williams, Sr., Anthony Williams, Sr., Bobby (Eva Mae) Williams, Gregory Williams, Sr., and Christopher (Elizabeth) Williams, all of Verdunville, LA; five daughters, Mary Williams of Dallas, TX, Joyce Marie (Murphy, Sr.) Bellard of Eunice, LA, Connie Franks of Verdunville, LA, Betty (Leo) Cormier of Patterson, LA, and Catherine Colbert of Franklin, LA, twenty seven grandchildren, sixty seven great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Roxy was preceded in death by her husband, George Williams, Jr., her sisters, Annie Bea Blackburn and Estelle Charles, two daughters, Linda Blackburn Williams Stackhouse and Lucille Williams Conley, grandson, Wade Blackburn, and granddaughter, Barbara Blackburn.
