Ailene Blevins

As a teenager, Ailene worked at a local restaurant in Corbin Ky. for a man named Harland Sanders. The restaurant was widely known for their exceptionally good fried chicken. The owner would later become known as Colonel Sanders, owner and founder of KFC. She was employed with Cincinnati Bell for 15 years and retired from Hamilton Answering Service following 25 years of service.

Ailene was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Howard Blevins, her son, Jack Blevins and her grandson, Jacob Blevins. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Tracey), Joe (Karrolyn), Jeff (Chrissie), and Kenny Baldwin; 12, grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The Funeral Services will be 1pm Monday August 26, 2024 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH 45005 with Pastor Josh Clifford officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm to 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, it was Ailene's wishes that donations be made to the Howard Jacob Blevins Franklin High School Memorial Scholarship Fund. Please make checks payable to Jacob Blevins Scholarship Fund and mail to 754 East Fouth Street Franklin, Ohio 45005.
