Alonzo Tracy

Alonzo L. Tracy, age 91 of Monroe, died Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born October 29, 1921 in New Market, Ohio the son of William M. Tracy and Irene Waits Tracy. Alonzo was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps serving during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen E. Wardlow Tracy; one son, Dan Ruthann Tracy of Middletown; one daughter, Kay Roger Murphy of Franklin; four grandchildren, Kelly Thomas Wentling, Traci McGuire, Ryan Tracy, Monica Brian Tracy-Elliott; four great grandchildren, Gage Tracy, Elana Tracy, Molly Wentling, Sean Wentling; many nieces and nephews; and loving friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family wants to thank the caregivers at Atrium Medical Center and Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Waugh officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hamer Township Cemetery, Danville, Ohio.
