Daughter of Edward and Maureen McDonough Hird. Sister to Nicole (Justin) Fueston, and loving aunt to Lillian and Jackson Fueston. In addition, Ashley is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ashley is predeceased by her mother’s parents, Paul, and Mary McDonough (Thompson) of Niagara Falls, Joan McDonough (Tumulty) of Lockport, New York.

As well as her father’s parents Edward and Ann Hird of New Port Richey, Florida, Jeanette Hird of Tonawanda, New York

Ashley was born at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She resided in Columbia, TN for the first three years of her life before making the trip with her mother, father, and big sister to Lebanon, OH. Later she would attend Lebanon City Schools where despite the many challenges that she faced, the staff of Lebanon City Schools would always make her feel accepted and well cared for. Some of her favorite experiences were her times spent in gym and music classes. Ashley proudly graduated from Lebanon High School in 2014.

Ashley loved all things country music and hanging out with her family. She was always up for road trips to visit her cousins, and extended family but when that wasn’t possible Ashley was completely content with relaxing to the many stories told to her by her beloved niece Lillian.

Ashley and her family would like to acknowledge the tremendous support and assistance they received from the Warren County Department of Developmental Disabilities. Without the support they received from them, the ability to stay in her own home surrounded by those that loved her would not have been possible. Ashley may have left us, but she in no way left us empty handed. She left us with lessons of love, kindness, and hope for the future. All without ever saying a single word.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Springboro Chapel, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. Interment will follow in Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022.
