

Benjamin B. DeBrosse, age 76, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Piqua, Ohio, May 26, 1934, the son of Benjamin P. and Agnes DeBrosse. He had worked in the Tubing Department, in Production and as a Machinist for Armco Steel, retiring after 42 years. He had also served as Vice President, East Works, of the A.E.I.F. Mr. DeBrosse was an Army veteran, a Kentucky Colonel, former member of the Eagles Lodge, Holy Family Parish, and a Life Member of the Ohio Country Western Music Association; and an avid musician and camper. Survivors include his 3 sons, Pierre Ginger DeBrosse, Stephen DeBrosse, and Eric DeBrosse, all of Middletown; grandchildren Sara Roger Pruitt, Phillip Amy DeBrosse, Allison Kristian Mitchell, and Melissa DeBrosse; 6 greatgrandchildren, Audrey, Chailee, Jackson, Micah, Caidence and McKayla, and one on the way; sisters Theresa, Martha and Hilda; brothers Ted and Bill; and a family friend, Ray Uleman. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Regina Marie DeBrosse; and brothers John, Omar, Leon, Louie, Tom and Harold. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 28, at St. John's Chapel Holy Family Parish, with Father John Civille as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Woodside Mausoleum.
