

He was born 02/12/1927 in Leeco Kentucky an only child to Charles and Colista Adkins Hobbs.
Billy came to Middletown in 1943, graduated from Middletown High School in 1944 and attended UC's school of engineering. He served 2 years in the United States Army during WWII, returned to Middletown and lived there until his death. He worked at Sorg Paper Company and spent 38 years in the Real Estate business as an agent, broker, builder, rehabber and rental property owner. He worked for M&M Realty, Century 21 Able Realty, Morrison Real Estate and DPM Realty. He was a Master Mason in the Freemasons and member of the Antioch Shrine and The ACE Car Club. Special thanks to the ACE Car Club for their kind gestures to him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Colista Hobbs and a grandson, Steven Feb. 1989.
He is survived by 3 children, Steve Regina of Somerville, OH, Bill Kim of Franklin, OH, and Melinda Baker of Middletown, OH; four grandchildren Jamie Baker Melissa of Centreville Virginia, Kristen Matt Hamaker of Camden, OH, Emily Baker of Richmond Virginia, and Tyler Hobbs of Franklin, OH; four great-grandchildren, Ashton and Jackson Baker and Sophie and Drew Hamaker; and his special lady friend, Bonnie Forkner.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Don Shepherd officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Thursday with a Masonic service at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Shriners Burns Institute.
