Bonnie S Swartz

Bonnie S. Swartz, age 73 of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Kettering Hospital, Miamisburg. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 23, 1952, she was one of two daughters to the late Lloyd & Elsie (Stinnett) Pusey. Bonnie was an active member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, Sunday school and praising the Lord. Her church family was very important to her. She liked to go shopping, and was known to collect lighthouses. Bonnie enjoyed playing the piano and sewing. Bonnie's favorite place to travel was Outer Banks, North Carolina; but her biggest passion was her family, especially being "Nana" to her grandchildren. She will be deeply Missed.

Survived by her husband of 18 years, Samuel Swartz, whom she married on May 3rd, 2008: children Christina & Wayne Cooke; Paul & Kristin Kirkman; Jillian & Joe Yarchak; Timothy & Sherrie Swartz: grandchildren Paige Cooke, Wyatt Cooke, Jaxon Cooke, Connor Yarchak, William Yarchak, Lily Swartz; Abbigail Swartz; Chloe Swartz and Josie Swartz: sister Mary & Jack Baxter: nephews Troy & Lisa Baxter; Todd & Cammie Baxter: brother-in-law John & Glenda Swartz: as well as many extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church- 820 Central Ave, Carlisle, OH 45005. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM , and burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church in honor of Bonnie.
