He is preceded in death by his father.
Brett is survived by his three sons, Christian Herd, Brett E. Howard, and John Howard; his mother. Sondra, a brother, Todd Howard; a sister, Sharon Perry and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 North Main Street, Springboro, with Pastor Tony McKiddy officiating.
