Charles Heater

Charles William "Bill" Heater, age 82 of Germantown, passed away Saturday evening at his residence. He was born March 22, 1932 in Burnsville, West Virginia, the son of Homer Heater and Clara Louther Heater. Bill was an U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Armco Steel after 30 years of service. Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judith Gaston Heater, four daughters, Judith Preston, Janice Wells, Jeanne Wells and Jacqueline Collins; three sons, James Heater, Charles wife, Chanda Heater, and William wife, Meghan Heater, 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; three sisters, Judith husband, Percy Landers, Jane husband, Bill Robinson, and Donna Jo husband, Greg Newman; two brothers, Homer wife, Pat Heater and Camden Heater. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John Heater; sisters, Mary Fetty and June Hayes; and brothers, Dewey and John.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach McCoy Leffler Funeral Home with Dr. Homer Heater officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
