Clarence Congleton

Clarence Congleton,Jr., age 93, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on February 4, 1932, the son of the late Clarence Congleton, Sr. and Mary (O'Hair) Congleton. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Vivian C. Congleton in 2019.

Clarence is survived by his son, James L. Congleton; his daughter, Cynthia and husband, Larry Smith; a brother, David Congleton; grandchildren, James Matthew Congleton and wife, Laura, Rachel White and Emily Smith; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Spencer Congleton, Andrew, Brice, Cynthia and Maegan Harrison, Aidan Haney, Alexis Kirby, Derrick Clayton Winstead and Victoria Winstead; great-great grandchildren, Jaiden, Jordan and Zoella Harrison, Wyatt and Alayna Kirby.

Clarence was retired from Armco Steel and served in the United States Navy from February 6, 1949 until June 6,1950.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Pennyroyal Baptist Church, 3733 Pennyroyal Road, Franklin, Ohio 45005 followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Josh Clifford at the church.
