Dan Hamilton

Dan Hamilton, age 82 of Cleveland, Tennessee, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Hospice of Chattanooga. He was born July 11, 1930 in Farler, Kentucky the son of Robert Hamilton and Sally Caudill Hamilton. Dan worked as a welder for Aeronca. He was a member of the Yankee Road First Church of God. He is survived by his daughter, Shelia McCowan of Cleveland, Tennessee; two grandsons, Joe wife, Tabitha McCowan and Jason wife, Coleen McCowan; three great grandchildren, Jacob, Trevor and Abagail McCowan; four brothers, Justin Hamilton of Middletown, Russell Hamilton of Farler, Kentucky, Lonnie Hamilton of Franklin, and Bob Hamilton of Middletown; two sisters, Ona Cornett of Hamilton and Alpha Caudill of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Fern Hamilton; son-in-law, Don McCowan; and four brothers, Raleigh, Earl, Matt and Leon Hamilton. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 27, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Collins officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
