Daniel D. Lovely 78, of Springboro died Sunday August 19, 2012 at the Hillspring Nursing Home. Born and raised in Springboro, Dan was the son of Lee and Ora (Lyons) Lovely. He formerly was a Day Foreman at Armco for 30 years and also served in the U.S. Army. He also was the leader of the "Barn Gang" who meet every morning for coffee.
Dan is survived by his brother Jack (Dorothy) Lovely, his longtime friend, Margaret Jarrell, a niece, Robin Lovely (Steve) Dowd and many friends including the gang at the barn.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St. Springboro, with Pastor Bruce Moore officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be held at Springboro Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Assoc. Condolences to the family may be made to anderson-fh.com.
