She was a licensed beautician for many years and was currently employed with Century Molding in Monroe.
Her father, Ronald Hood preceded her in death. Dawn is survived by her husband, Gary McClain; her son, Tommy Thacker; her mother, Charlotte (Larry) Peek; her brothers, Jeff (Leslie) Hood, Scott (Jenna) Hood; her nephews, Bradley Hood, Lance Hood; her nieces, Kelsey (Brandon) Wells, Cosette Hood.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday November 18, 2021 at the Anderson Life Celebration Center 360 Commerce Park Dr from 6pm to 8pm.
