Diana was born February 12, 1952 to Carroll C. and Eleanor S. Brown in Xenia, OH.
In 1970, Diana graduated from West High School, Columbus OH. She studied education at the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, OH and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974. Four years later, she received a Master of Religious Education from Cincinnati Bible Seminary, Cincinnati, OH.
She was married on September 4, 1982 to her beloved husband Ronald J. Struve and for 43 years they were inseparable. They met while working at GE in Cincinnati and continued their careers there for many years.
Diana is survived by her husband Ron and children Brad Struve, Mark (Heather) Struve, Jaime (Jimmy) Struve-Franxman, Timothy (Milena) Struve-Trujillo, and Todd Struve. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Vanessa (Jason) Vanderman, Alex (Rasha) Adwani-Struve, Hanna Struve; Corrina, Adeline, and Isaac Franxman; Juanita and Ezra Struve-Trujillo. Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law will greatly miss her as will her three sisters, Denise Chase, Nancy Jones, and Becky Brown.
Diana loved God and was a faithful member of Christ’s Church at Mason for many years. Because she loved God, she also loved people and wanted as many people as possible to come to know the love of God and His life-changing grace. Her love of people was evident in the way she interacted with others; she found a common thread and made people feel loved and welcomed. She and Ron often opened their home to family and friends, enjoying a meal together and socializing.
Because Diana never met a stranger, she struck up conversations with people in elevators, checkout lines, waiting rooms, and anywhere she went. She was deeply loved by so many people, and she made a profound impact in the lives of those around her.
