Don Stacy

Don L. Stacy, age 74, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Sunday November 23, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on April 8, 1940 to Aster and Myrtle (Smith) Stacy. He was employed with Delco Moraine for 29 years and retired in 1992. Don was an avid fisherman, a member of the first Ceasar's Creek Bass Club, and a member of the Foreman's Club. He was a member of the Brookville Masonic Lodge # 569 F&AM and the A.A.S.R., the OKI Blue Grass Association, the Eagles, and the Delco Moraine 25 year Club. Don's greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren and playing Blue Grass Music. He was preceded in death by his father, Aster Stacy, mother, Myrtle Stacy, brother, Roger Stacy; sister, Lola Stacy Dillon, brother, Bert Stacy. Don leaves behind his wife of 50 years Edith (Davis) Stacy; son, Don L. (Melody) Stacy Jr.; daughter, Shana (Ben) Newell; 9 beloved grandchildren, which includes twin granddaughters, Morgan and Erin Hamby, twins Kenzie and Cooper Stacy, granddaughter Katelyn Lauber; grandsons, Wyatt Stacy, Logan Newell, Austin Newell, and Tyler Newell; three brothers, Clyde Stacy, Alvin Stacy, Earl (Angie) Stacy; three sisters, Jevetta (Jim) Smith, Carol Stacy (Danny) Ritchie, and Greta Stacy (Dave) Price. Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday November 29, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Homes 40 North Main Street Springboro, Ohio with Reverend Jim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
