Donald was employed with LexisNexis for 40 years. He was a Cub Scout Master of Pack 34, and also volunteered as a baseball coach. Donald enjoyed fishing and gardening in his spare time and will be deeply missed by his family.
Donald is survived by his wife, Darlene Chapman; two sons, Justin, Jeremy Chapman; mother-in-law, Carolyn Franklin and father-in-law, Ernest Franklin; sister, Cheryl Chapman; two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Chapman - Sellman, Diana (Drake) Daggett; niece, Sandy (Rebecca) Alford; nephew, Garrett (Jenna) Alford and a host of other relatives.
A gathering of family and friends for Donald will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066. A memorial service will occur Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist of Springboro, 60 E North Street, Springboro, OH. Inurnment to follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Chapman.
