Donald Sanderson

Donald Eugene "Sandy" Sanderson, born on January 23, 1932, departed his tired body for a new Home on November 24, 2010. He leaves to honor in his memory, his children Wanita Hatton Lawrence, Edith Warmoth James, Paul Sanderson, Jacqueline Taylor Michael granddaughter Nicole Sanderson and his beloved dog Gracie. Also 8 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, and many loving friends and family. He will join his Wife and Childhood Sweetheart of over 60 years Flora Grace Woolum, birthmother Wanetia Thompson Hauber, brother Orville Jess Baxter and sister-in-law Carol, loving grandparents that raised him Orville Paul and Edith Aretha Sanderson, and his youngest son Perry Gene. Dad retired after 30 years of service at Armco. As a young man, he built the greenhouses on Yankee Road, and his home in Trenton where he raised his family. The family requests that contributions be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care Peggy and Keith, or a charity of your choice. And the entire family sends a special Thank You to our angel "Brandy". Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, officiated by her granddaughter Michelle Lynn Swartz. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Monroe.
