I worked with Donna as a guest teacher and always found her helpful,cheerful and an excellent teacher .I will miss waving to her in the hallways of Dennis School.  My prayers to all family  members.

I am so sorry for the loss of Donna. As a guest teacher I didn't see Donna often, but when I did she was always greeted me like a friend. Funny, cheerful and kind. That's how I'll remember her. Suzanne Geisler

Donna was an amazing teacher to my little Jordan who needed help towing the line! She was able to provide that motherly love, strong discipline, and amazing academics that he  and so many others needed! Her love for her students and education he will be missed by all. My condolences to Donna's family, friends, and colleagues. I have so many great memories of her throughout school... elementary school band (especially the talent show skit, with Tammy Cox squeaking her clarinet) ... band camps ... and running track together. Every time I see a box of strawberry-banana Jello, I can't help but smile and think of Donna. She was always fun and pleasant to be with.

I remember Donna as always happy, smiling, laughing and upbeat. I had the pleasure of working with Donna for 8 years in Springboro. Donna knew what she was doing in a classroom and I know she was so helpful to her team and colleagues. I didn't know she was a fellow Otterbein alumna.
 My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this time of sadness.

Donna was a true example of an outstanding educator and an excellent person.  My heart goes out to her family and her colleagues.  Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

When I started teaching second grade at Jonthan Wright in 1991, Donna taught first grade and then she decided to teach second grade when second grade was moved to Clearcreek.  She was an excellent teacher and both students and teachers loved her perky personally.  She was nice to everyone and fair to her students.  She always seemed upbeat with a smile on her face.  I'm glad that I was able to teach with her and know her also as a wonderful person.  She will be missed.

I worked along side Donna as a 2nd grade teacher at Dennis for 9 years before moving up to 5th for the the last 3 years. Donna was a wonderful mentor and friend. She inspired her friends, students and her co-workers. She was a ray of Sunshine at Dennis Elementary and made everyone laugh and smile! She will be greatly missed.
