Doris Ann Grant

Doris Ann Grant, age 92, of Franklin, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021. She was born November 14th, 1928, in Franklin, Kentucky to the late George and Bessie (Caudill) Brassell. She was a graduate of Simpson County High School.

Doris was known for her love of flowers. You could always find her outside tending to her rose bushes along the fence. She loved Christmas and decorating for the holiday season. In her later years, if she was not outside gardening, she was going store to store trying to find good deals. Thrifting was a hobby she really enjoyed.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Grant; brothers, Jack Brassell and Guy Brassell; and a sister, Ruth Reeder.

She is survived by her two children, George Grant and Emily Grant; a special nephew, Jeff Brassell; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her beloved furbabies, Remy and Rosemary.

A graveside service will be held at Springboro Cemetery on July 15th, 2021, beginning at 1pm, officiated by Pastor Brian Morris.

Memorial contributions in Doris’ name may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
