Edward Kenison LaGasse

Edward Kenison LaGasse, age 86, of Springboro, OH, died Thursday January 18, 2018 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Melrose, Massachusetts on April 3, 1931 to the late Edward and Arlene (Kenison) LaGasse. Edward served in the US Army during the Korean War, was a graduate of St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia, PA, was a member of St. Henry's Parish and most recently St. Mary of the Assumption. Edward was passionate about golf, really enjoyed skiing with his family and enjoyed making people laugh. He was employed by Miami Valley Hospital and retired in 1991. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Denyse Joncas LaGasse; two sons, Gary E. (Jane) LaGasse, Marc M. (Elizabeth) LaGasse; daughter, Lizanne A. (Tom) Jankowski; sister, Lorraine LaGasse Clark; grandchildren, Eric, Chris, Luc, Jake, Paul, and Jon. Mass of the Resurrection is 10:00 am Monday January 22, 2018 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church 9579 Yankee Road Springboro, OH with Reverend James Manning officiating followed by military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
