Elaine Evans

Elaine Evans, age 66, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday December 20, 2018 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 28, 1952 to Woodrow and Mahala (Henson) Thompson. Elaine was a faithful member of Baptist Tabernacle in Carlisle for over twenty years. Elaine loved the mountains, the ocean and spending enjoyable time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Thompson, mother, Mahala Thompson, and sister, Mary Lou. Elaine is survived by her husband of 49 years Roger A. Evans; daughter, Melissa (Joseph) Artz; son, Chancey (Donna) Evans; grandchildren, Samantha, Shane, Emily, and Jacob; eight sisters, Florence, Carolyn, Barbara, Judy, Nora, Rebecca, Debbie, and Jackie. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday December 23, 2018 at Anderson Life Celebration Center 360 Commerce Drive Franklin, Ohio with Rev. Michael Gray officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Life Celebration Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties.
