Ellen Deaton

Ellen Deaton, age 89, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday August 24, 2017 at her home with her family. She was born in Houston, Kentucky on May 2, 1928 to Daniel and Eva (Stamper) Sebastian. Ellen was a member of Temple Baptist Church and she was employed with Council on Aging for 20 years and retired in 1996. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Sebastian, mother, Eva Stamper Sebastian, husband, Douglas Deaton, daughter-in-law, Jerri Lynn Deaton, grandson, Garry David Deaton, Jr.. Ellen is survived by five sons, Garry (Gloria) Deaton, Joe Ed (Harrietta) Deaton, Danny Deaton, Douglas Deaton, Glenn (Becky) Deaton; two daughters, Donna Miller, Deborah (John) Valentine; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; sister, Beulah Sizemore; brother-in-law, Kash (Julia) Deaton. Funeral services are 11:00 am Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Sherrill Sizemore officiating.
