A few more pictures that I wanted to share.

Here he is showing off how much he liked hard work with a friend. One of the many trees he helped me cut down in my back yard and one of the many projects he helped me finish.

Here's a couple of his playful side spending time with my daughter.

While I was at work one day I came home to a fire pit made from bricks sitting in my back yard. He surprised me by building it for me while I was away from home.

I would like to share a few more somewhat recent pictures of my time spent with Eric and Casey. I love them both.

I don't know where to start. Eric was like my brother and I loved him like one. We grew up together and shared countless adventures. We spent countless hours and weekends discussing our futures together and enjoying stories of our past. Endless amounts of time went into helping each other with life's curve balls and lending a hand to one another. We also spent plenty of time guessing what the next anime release might be and what happen in the next episode and played lots and lots of Monster hunter together. These things are all a huge part of my life and I will always hold them close.
 I always admired his confidence. He had the ability to pick something up and master it like no one else. There were few things I could best him in. truthfully, he was so good at some things I wouldn't take part because I didn't like being second best, but again that is one of the things deep down that I loved about him. 
 This year alone he helped me with so many things that others wouldn't. More than anything I believe he was happiest when he gave to people. When he would show others that he cared for them, or performed random acts of kindness. I will always remember him that way. A member of my family, my best friend, a fellow adventurer, my brother. We love you Eric. We will always have you in our hearts. Thank you for being my best friend and brother. RIP

Well said Casey. He was a wonderful smart loving man.

Lit a candle in memory of Eric Sean Birnbaum

Eric was a member of our family no doubt, this who thing feels so unreal and he was loved by so many, his fun, cheery and loving personality will be missed. He was one of A,J and I's  best friends and this all just feels like a dream. My kids loved him and he loved them and my heart breaks for what has happened. He enjoyed many things that we did such as anime,going on adventures with  friends, video games, celebrating special events with us. He will always be missed and never forgotten. We love you.

Some pictures were shared with me from a friend of mine. I am a member of the Arc of Butler County which is an advocacy group for people with disabilities in Butler County. Eric loved helping with events we held. The below pictures are from a picnic we had. Eric rode along on the hayride with the children and adults that attended the picnic. Eric was always doing what he could to make people laugh. His death is a sadness to all who he made smile.

I am not going to be one to say sorry i cant it still feels like yesterday to me being at Erics big birthday party where all of us guys up in the top floor of the house with us hyped up on soda and junk food playing video games like the silly young kids we all where staying up to 6am and all of us just passed out all over the floor and sofas.he was one of the few friends i had tho my school life hanging out with Scott and him where some of my best times in my life and now its so numbing to think about the times we all spent being young and stupid taking from this world way too soon and had alot to give still i know we lost contact after a while but i never forgot about him he was hard too honestly i rember the school work he helped me with and the and the games video games we would play and try and beat i will miss you rest well you earned it my freind

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Eric was a great guy! One of my favorite memories of him was him trying to teach me Chemistry! Love Becky

I am so sorry to hear you have passed on. My heart goes out to your family, friends and loved ones. You were so smart and so giving. I know you will be missed. Rest in peace, Eric.

My heart goes out to his family? I didn't know him well but he was always so sweet and kind! A great soul gone too soon! Rest in heaven!

Where do I begin? I still see you as the fourth grader going to GATE with Scott and playing ball at Goldman Park. As a man, you and Casey found one another again, which just rocked my world because I was still seeing you as that fourth grader. You made Casey laugh, you supported her and her endeavors without reserve. You've left this world all too soon, but you will be in our hearts forever. We love you Eric and we are missing you every moment of every day.

Eric and I have known each other since I was in the fifth grade and he was in the fourth. We always liked each other, and over the last year we fell in love. Eric was kind-hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand. Eric was the smartest man I've ever met. He was a tutor in college and he loved every minute of it. Eric's favorite thing in the world was anything anime. He found joy in cuddling on the couch and watching anime for hours. Eric was die hard Chicago Cubs fan. He was so happy when they won the 2016 World Series. His dream was to visit Japan one day. Eric wanted to be successful in life, have a home, a wife, and a family to take care of. He wanted this with me. His life was taken too soon for Eric accomplish his goals and he has left behind many who loved him. I loved him with all my heart and he has taken my heart with him. Eric, baby, I loved you with every ounce of my heart. Gone but not forgotten.
