

Evalena Cope, age 88 of Springboro, Ohio passed away April 25, 2013 at Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties . She was born August 1, 1924 in West Liberty, Kentucky the daughter of Chester and Edna McKenzie. She was avid Euchre player and a member of the VFW Post 7596 Ladies Auxiliary; American Legion Post 149 Ladies Auxiliary; Amvets Post 120 Ladies Auxiliary, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post 2309 Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Deardoff Senior Center. She was a Baptized Christian and was loved by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Chester McKenzie, Mother, Edna McKenzie, a Daughter, Eldean Villella; a Grandson, Nicholas Villella, a sister and 4 brothers and 2 Step-sons.
Evalena is survived by her husband, Whitey; a Sister - Joan (Randall) Elder; Brother - Cordell (Nettie) McKenzie; granddaughter - Jamie (Charlie) Villella-King, former son-in-law - Jim Villella; 2 great grandchildren, Harrison and Isabella King; 11 step- children; 21 step-grandchildren; and 16 great step-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes (1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio).
