Frederick Franklin Barnthouse Sr

Frederick Franklin Barnthouse Sr., age 77, of Carlisle, OH; died Sunday September 26, 2021 at his residence. Frederick was born in Willard, OH on June 24, 1944 to the late Leroy Edward and Carrie (Patrick) Barnthouse.

He served in USMC during the Vietnam War and was a builder, photographer and lawn landscaper. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lauren and Kermit Barnthouse; and sisters, Shirley Moser and Mary Deskins. Frederick is survived by his wife of 16 years Marilynn (Adams) Barnthouse; his three children, Frederick Barnthouse Jr, Cari Angela (Jay) Slusser, Ronald (Billie Jo)Barnthouse; his grandchildren, Courtney, Christi, James, Matthew, Josh, Demi, Rohan, Zach, Allison; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Cooper, Trinity, Moomoo, A.J.; his stepson, Jayson (Alissa) Alexander; his step grandchildren, Alison and Sammy; his brother, Hagar Barnthouse; and sister, Catherine Hawks; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be 1pm Friday October 8, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH. with Pastor Shawn Bowling officiating followed by military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the medical personnel that cared for Frederick during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
