

Antrican, George R., age 72, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday morning at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Middletown, March 16, 1938, the son of Peter J. and Mary L. Antrican. He worked as a Roll Grinder at Armco Steel. Mr. Antrican was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard, serving as a First Lieutenant. He was a devoted husband who loved his family, was an accomplished gunsmith and woodworker, and was a Civil War buff and re-enactor, commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Confederate Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Antrican; his 3 daughters, Leslie Claudine Richard Stratman of Hamilton, Nedra Kathleen Larry Luksic of Monroe, and Yvonne Kaye Michael D. Myers of Trenton; 15 grandchildren, and 20 greatgrandchildren; 7 stepchildren; and a sister, Alberta Derrough. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a sister, Betty. Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will then be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 27 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Rudy Allen. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park, with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
