George A Meeks

George A. Meeks, age 89 of Middletown, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:10 PM at Otterbein Senior Living, Middletown, Ohio. Born on February 22, 1936 he was a son to the late James E. & Edna L. (Barot) Meeks. George retired from Akers Packaging where he made some wonderful friends. George enjoyed collecting horses, and you could find him watching "Hop Along Cassidy", indulging in his favorite past time - "food" of any and all kinds, front porch sitting, and spending time with his grandson. He was a truly loving, happy, fun loving man, who will be missed by those who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Bryant: brothers William and Dale Meeks: sister Imogene Mercer.

George is survived by his sister-in-laws Patricia Meeks, and Myrna Meeks: grandson Dalton Colwell: several nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to the staff of Otterbein Senior Living in Middletown, Ohio for all the wonderful care they provided George, as well as Hospice of Middletown. The family is very thankful for everything you all have done for George.

Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Jason Barge presiding. Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio.
