George Wright

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Wright in 1990; a sister, Clara Hurt; and 4 brothers, Elden, William, Eugene, and Douglas Wright.

George is survived by his loving wife Ruth; a son, George C. Wright of Franklin, OH; a daughter, Robin Wright of Palm Coast, FL; 4 sisters, Pauline Burwick, Linda Blair, Mary Wilson, and Jo Carpenter. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He worked for ARMCO until 1991 when he retired with 36 years service. He was a children church bus director for years at Towne Blvd Church of God, and Monroe First Church of God. We later moved to Arkansas where he worked as a van driver for Good Samaritan retirement center until 2003 and attended Oaklawn First Church of God in Hot Springs Arkansas.

To me he was a people person, and he loved talking and sharing GOD'S word with anyone he meet. We enjoyed 49 years together thru the good, bad, sad and happy times.
