Grace Juanita Deaton

Deaton, Grace “Juanita”, age 66 of Middletown, passed away Tuesday morning at her residence. She was born April 29, 1949 in Middletown, the daughter of Owen and Mary L. (Dumit) Miller. Juanita worked as a dental assistant for 20 years and in retail for 15 years, retiring from Kohl’s in 2005. She delivered Meals on Wheels from 2009-2014 at the Middletown Senior Center. Juanita graduated from Middletown High School in 1967. She loved her family and enjoyed being with them. She also loved her cats and especially her 2 labs, B and Boy.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 45 years, J.B. Deaton; a daughter, Jennifer S. Deaton of Loveland, Ohio; sisters, Charlotte Billett, Gwen Miller and Glenna Miller; numerous nieces and nephews, especially J. Owen Miller, Fredrick Sebastion Miller, and Brian S. Billett. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Owen Miller; brothers in law, Victor Christ-Janer, Jake Miller and Roy Billett.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. A guest book is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com
