Harry E. Clevenger, 21, passed away on December 17, 2020, at his home. He was born in Kettering, Ohio, on September 23, 1999, and resided in Franklin, Ohio, for 17 years. Harry attended St. John the 23rd for his elementary and middle school education and graduated from Franklin High School in 2018. He attended UD Sinclair Academy for the past two years, focusing in Mechanical Engineering. Harry was proud of the internship he held at Advanced Engineering Solutions and had planned to pursue mechanical engineering as a career.
Harry had an engineering and business mind and was always intent on understanding how things worked. There was nothing he couldn’t learn. He was a master of many things and would patiently try, through trial and error, to conquer whatever interested him. He started a lawn business at the age of 12 (including homemade business cards), taught himself how to weld, and developed a passion for fixing cars. He recently completed the rebuild of his 1998 Trans Am engine that he raced in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Most of all, Harry was a friend to everyone young and old. He was generous with friends and family and had an infectious smile. Harry was a doting grandson, always helping his grandparents with projects and calling them to talk, go out to lunch, and share life, in general. Harry was fun-loving and enjoyed the outdoors where he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Harry was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Parish.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Edward Clevenger. He is survived by his parents, John and Michelle, brother James, sister Kate, grandparents Jim and Nancy Frient, and grandmother Joanna Clevenger, and leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Harry was loved by so many people and will be deeply missed.
