Helen Virginia Peters, age 83, of Springboro, OH passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born August 9, 1932 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of the late Leroy and Ruth (Bamberger) Allen. Helen retired from Sinclair Community College after 40 years as the director of learning resources. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gavin H. Peters and brother, Warren L. Allen. Helen is survived by her son, Gavin H. Peters II and his wife, Kim. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, 325 Vehslage Rd., Seymour, IN 47274, with Pastor Jamie Renner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties.
