

Howard D. Harville 91, of Franklin died at home surrounded by his family Thursday June 6, 2013. He was born in Mooresburg, TN the son of James and Mary (Wolf) Harville. Howard was with the Franklin Fire Dept. for 32 years and retired as Fire Chief. He was a pillar of the community for many years touching many people. He drove for the Warren County Transit for 19 years, and he was an Army Veteran serving in WW II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Jane, his 2nd. Wife, Ivory, a daughter, Carol, brothers, Paul and Gem and a sister, Bonnie Haven.
Howard is survived by his children, Kenny Harville, "Mike" James Harville, Sheila Smith, Mark Harville and Amy (Rich) Shockley, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Lucille Shelton, step-children, Ellen and Don White, Tommy and Linda Stewart and Dennis Stewart.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Visitation will be Monday 3 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery with Military Honors. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Middletown.
