
James Robert Carmack, age 73, of Franklin, OH, passed from time to eternity on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center in the presence of his loving family. Jim was born in Middletown, OH on February 13, 1943 to Robert and Olivene (Brandenburg) Carmack. Jim graduated from Franklin High School in 1961 and married his high school sweetheart Nina in 1962. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin for 54 years where he served the Lord as a trustee and a deacon and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for several years. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his four grandsons. Jim's high school classmates were also important to him as he enjoyed organizing the quarterly reunions and meeting with his high school friends. Since graduating from high school, Jim worked for NCR, Fox Electronics, and retired from Monsanto in Miamisburg, OH. Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Nina Carmack, his parents Robert and Olivene, and his in laws Raymond and Dorothy Abshear. Jim is survived by his two daughters Kim Dawson and Sheri (Matt) Robinson; his wife Beth Black Carmack; his four grandsons Alex Dawson, Austin Dawson, Sam Robinson, and Ryan Robinson; his two brothers Joe (Bonnie) Carmack and Ed (Jenny) Carmack; step grandson Matt Black; step daughter Michelle (Mike) Winters; and sister-in-law Sharon (Jerry) Coffey. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services are 10am Friday, July 1, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev.
