James Ray Lewis, age 85, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at Woodglen Alzheimer's Nursing Home. James was born December 6, 1933 in Stacy Fork, KY to Pearl Gladys (Francis) Lewis and John Harmon Lewis.
James was employed with Moraine Material as a truck driver for 45 years and retired in 1995.
James is survived by; sons Jim (Charlotte) Lewis, John (Chandra) Lewis; and Gary (Charlotte) Lewis; brothers Bradford Lewis, Gordon Lewis, Joe Lewis, and Nathan Lewis and sister Betty Anders; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Faye Lewis; son, Danny Ray Lewis, father John Harmon Lewis and mother Pearl Gladys Lewis, sister, Georgie Mason, brothers, Garmon and Harmon Lewis.
Funeral Services are 1pm Friday August 9, 2019 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd ST Franklin, OH with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at the Roberts Drive Pentecostal Church.
