

Mullins, James Randolph “Randy”, age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at his home in Franklin. He was born on June 10, 1959, in Middletown, the son of Chalmer Mullins, who survives and the late Naomi Ferguson. Randy is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Regina Lynn Mullins and his brother, Eric Mullins. In addition to his father, he is survived by his two sons, Justin David Mullins and Michael Todd Mullins; a brother, Tim Mullins; two sisters, Beth Kitchen and Julie Hidalgo. He is also survived by three grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and countless friends.
Randy is a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School where, during his senior year, he was instrumental in helping secure the Ohio State Championship in Gymnastics, medaling in both Men’s Parallel Bars and the All-Around competition. Randy excelled when it came to woodworking and, shortly after graduating high school, honed his carpentry talents at Kolker Remodeling. Randy was a beloved member of the local Hair-Metal Band scene of the 1980’s and 90’s, sharing his talents both on and off stage as a bass guitarist, sound board operator, and lighting technician.
