

Jean Blythe Jackson, age 79, of Trenton, died Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born September 21, 1932 in New Rochelle, New York, the daughter of Rev. Charles Johnston and Cora Booth Johnston. Jean worked as a nurses' aide at Garden Manor. She volunteered at Trenton Humane Society and at the Middletown Regional Hospital Gift Shop for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, George F. Jackson; two daughters, Laura Brown of California, Sharon and R.D. Folks of Texas; two sons, Bill Jackson of Monroe, K. C. Jackson of Afghanistan; four grandchildren, Tara Reddy, Rob Mapel, Lea Jackson, Shane Jackson; two great granddaughters, Karter Reddy and Kayla Reddy; and one sister, June Westwood. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Hanzel; and one brother, Peter Johnston. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Lt. Bryan L. DeMichael officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time, Thursday at the funeral home.
