Jeanie Setser

Jeanie Setser age 59, Loving mother, wife, daughter and grandmother went to be the Lord in the morning hours of December 12, 2021 at Kettering Hospital. Jeanie was born February 8, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio and grew up surrounded by her large family. She had a brother Bob Dwyer of Middletown, Ohio and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeanie was influenced by her family to be a loving, caring, strong and courageous woman, always giving her time to others and incorporated that into her motherhood.

Jeanie was formerly employed with Miami Valley News for eleven years, and has been with the Warren County Career Center for the past fifteen years where she gained an entire family. As a mother she was generous, loving, kind and supportive understanding and compassionate. Jeanie as a grandmother was a gentle hand and open loving arms, a warm smile and comfort. Family was everything to her, she loved hard and cherished her friends just as much. Jeanie loved the beach, Tennessee, shopping, crafting, drag racing, fishing and garage sales. Although we know we can’t have her here, we are happy to know heaven has gained an angel. She will forever be missed by her family and friends who loved and cared for her deeply.

Jeanie was proceeded in death by her father Jack Broxterman, her mother Deloris (Lakes) Broxterman, the father of her children and first love of her life Donnie Kidder, and numerous family members. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years David Setser, her daughter Stacy (Travis) Ratliff, her son Todd Kidder; her grandchildren Brayden Kidder, Logan Kidder, Hunter Covey, McKayla Ratliff, Kane Ratliff, Emily Ratliff, Kiersten Ratliff and her only great-grandchild Ava Kidder, her close friend Michael Mullins; numerous family members and her Warren County Career Center family.

Her visitation will be held 3:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin Ohio 45005, December 20, 2021 followed by her Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will have a gathering time from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the Life Celebration Center following the service.
