Jeffrey Victor Fox, Michigan native and BSA Eagle Scout, father to 9, grandfather to 11, brother to 1, uncle to 7, and husband to 1 passed away too soon at the age of 69 on January 9th, 2026 after enduring 2 years of head and neck cancer.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy, his children: Matthew (wife Leigh), Emily (husband Graham), Benjamin (wife Emily), Jacob, and Michael (wife Sierra) his grandchildren: Jackson, Laila, Sophia, Charlotte, Cameron, Vivian, Amelia, Hannah, Nancy, Madeline, and Lincoln, his sister Jill (husband Steve) and his nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was a dedicated and encouraging father, a kind and gentle grandfather, and a hopelessly in love husband. A geologist by education, engineer by trade, and comedian by passion, Jeffrey enjoyed collecting countless roadside rocks, launching innumerable model rockets, and being a humble, quiet, and dependable force for good in the lives of all of those lucky enough to know him. Jeffrey was a constant example and source of unconditional love and his presence will be greatly missed but forever echoed by all of those who loved him.
His family is eternally grateful for the tireless efforts of all of the medical professionals and staff of The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute who worked ceaselessly and compassionately to prolong his life.
Services will be held at St. Mary's of the Assumption in Springboro on Wednesday, January 21st. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM, with a praying of the rosary at 10:30AM followed by Mass at 11:00AM with luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests all those able to consider donating blood or platelets to their local blood bank, as Jeffrey did over 500 times throughout his life.
