

Jerry L. Lewis, age 89 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Red Lion, Ohio on October 10, 1935 he was one of 4 children to the late Jacob & Ellen (Bone) Lewis. Jerry was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1954. He then went on to marry the love of his life, Annette (Morris) Lewis on January 15, 1955. Jerry was a proud United States Air Force veteran, having served from 1954-1964 as and E.O.D. Specialist. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his biggest passion was his family. He had an unwavering love for his family and especially his grandchildren, he enjoyed going to all of their sporting events and spending time with them. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather; he was humble, patient, smart and always willing to give a helping hand. Jerry was a special man, who was one of a kind and can never be replaced.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Kevin Lewis: sisters Mary Ann Sheets; Margie Jane O'Hara; Nancy Gayle Rothman.
Survived by his wife of 70 years, Annette Lewis : children Julie & Phillip Reynolds; Christopher & Margarita Lewis: grandchildren Jerimiah Lewis & fiance' Michelle Jennings ; Tiffany & David Smith; Emily Lewis & fiance' Ben Engle; Ty Reynolds; Ashleigh & Randy White; Zachary Reynolds; Nicholas & McKenzie Reynolds; Lucas Reynolds: great-grandchildren Cameron; Lincoln; Alex; Natalie; Owen; Kevin; Trace; Bryce; Mason; Sydney; Logan; Kasey; Addison; Alayna; Jaxson; Avery: grand-dogs " Rudy", "Chico", and " Costa": brother-in-law Gary & Ruth Morris: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Morris presiding. Burial to follow at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio.
