Joan (Schertzer) Robinson, age 84, of Springboro, Ohio, (previously Marion, OH) passed away Sunday unexpectedly on Sunday January 26, 2014. She was born in Marion, Ohio on April 28, 1929 to Ernest and Helen Elizabeth (Mitchell) Schertzer. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Von Schertzer, mother, Helen Elizabeth Schertzer, husbands, Jack Gooding, Richard Robinson; son, James Gooding (Brenda), and sister, Alice Tsumpes. Joan is survived by her sons, Thomas Gooding and Robert Gooding, her daughters Nancy (Pat) Ryan, Jacqueline (Todd ) Albert; 4 Grandsons Aaron, Duncan, Jackson, Grant; granddaughters Kasey (Jon), Sarah, Molly, Kaitlyn, Gabreille; sisters Virginia McDonald and June Schertzer. Joan was happiest when she was surrounded by family. She will always be remembered as the loving union between them all. Funeral services will be held at Prospect Street United Methodist Church in Marion, OH ( 185 South Prospect Street Marion, OH 43302) on Saturday February 1, 2014, 10:00am.
