John William Waddell

John William Waddell Sr., age 81, of Franklin, Ohio, died Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Arlington Pointe. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 30, 1935 to Bill and Louise (Toomey) Waddell. John was a member of Franklin First Church of God. He was employed with AK Steel for 42 years and retired in 1995. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith Waddell, daughter, Cookie Butler, father, Bill Waddell, mother, Louise Waddell; and step granddaughter Abigaile Current. John is survived by his wife Bonnie Crosthwaite Waddell; three sons, Rick (Debbie) Waddell, John (Brenda) Waddell Jr., Greg Waddell; daughter, Debbie (Terry) Wilson; three granddaughters, Edith White, Marrine Barry, Amber Wilson; five grandsons, Shaun Waddell, Steve Butler, Rick Wilson, Josh Waddell and Zack Waddell; sister, Helen Meyers; three step sons; and 10 step grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Franklin First Church of God 704 S. River St. Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Mark Crider officiating.
